2. Cookies and similar storage

2.1 What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They can keep settings, help the site work, or (with consent) help us understand how the site is used.

2.2 Essential use

We rely on normal browser behaviour and, where you choose, local storage on your device to remember your cookie choice. For example, if you click “Essential only” or “Accept analytics” on the banner, we store a value such as moto_cookie_analytics_v1 in localStorage so we do not ask you again on every visit. This is not used to sell your data; it only remembers your preference.

2.3 Analytics (optional — Google Analytics 4)

If you click Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager scripts. That helps us see aggregate information (for example, which pages are viewed, roughly where traffic comes from, and device types). We do not use GA4 to identify you personally by name from that tool alone.

Google’s terms and privacy information apply to how they process data: see Google Privacy Policy and Google’s use of cookies.

If you click Essential only, we do not load GA4 on that page (as implemented on the homepage). You can change your mind later by clearing site data for motorcyclediaries.fun in your browser; the banner may appear again.

3. Data we may receive

• Email: If you email us (e.g. [email protected]), we receive your address and message content to reply.
• Verification / community flows: If you use our Telegram bot or email verification flows, separate notices may apply; those systems are described on the relevant pages (e.g. verify flow).
• Logs: Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP, time, requested URL) for security and operations.

4. Third-party services and links

The site links to third parties (e.g. X/Twitter, Telegram, pump.fun, dev.to). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

5. Site rules (acceptable use)

By using this website you agree not to:

• Use the site in any unlawful way or to harm others.
• Attempt to break, overload, or bypass security or access controls.
• Scrape or automate access in a way that impairs the service for others (reasonable indexing by search engines is expected).
• Misrepresent affiliation with Motorcycle Diaries or $MOTO.

Community spaces (e.g. Telegram) may have additional rules set by moderators.
